Ann’s portraits are all about the personality and the feel of a character - she manages to tell a story through the facial expressions and colours.

“The portraits reflect on when I'm in an in between stage - when looking in the mirror there is an openness on what will be next - kind, wild, but full of opportunities to come...where one is here and at the same time there.

I feel comfortable in that space, awaiting what door will open next.”

Each of the In Betweeners series is sold separately at $1800 each, and measure 60cm wide by 80cm high. They are mixed media collage on wooden board.
