Paula Sugden (me, owner of The Art Shed) has taken up Furniture Flipping!

Each piece of furniture has been meticulously cleaned and sanded in between every coat.

The church pew is solid Kauri - so heavy! It was left outside for years so was a bit mouldy and had a burn on the seat from a BBQ grill. I sanded it all back, and just couldn’t bring myself to paint over that stunning wood. So it has had a soft paint wash with Fusion Mineral Paint colour Algonquin, then double coated with a spray on sealant.

This would look amazing in an entrance way or hallway, or at the end of a dining table.
