Paula Sugden (me, owner of The Art Shed) has taken up Furniture Flipping!

Each piece of furniture has been meticulously cleaned and sanded in between every coat.

This chest of drawers was in desperate need of attention. The top was sanded back to bare wood and tan-washed, then a layer of Fusion Tough Coat. The framed and drawers were given three coats of Fusion Mineral Paint colour Cathedral Taupe. The handles were painted in a soft vintage gold, as were the bases of the legs. The remainder of the legs were also tan-washed and coated in Fusion Stain and Finishing Oil colour Driftwood.

The whole effect is a soft colour palette, layered with touches of gold and wood grain.

Measurements are 1350 wide by 390 deep and 650 high.
