Rene creates her wall hangings, birds and leaves using moulds taken from actual pieces from nature. She also enjoys glaze chemistry, developing her own glazes to enhance the surfaces of her work. The long shells are actual shells from the beach.

Each hanging piece has copper wire for strength and added colour and texture where it can be seen.
