Sally lives in Waipawa south of Hastings and paints with oils on canvas and linen, as well as other mediums. She is well known for her dramatic skies and quirky farm characters.
Sally has painted a few pets, each original painting is around 1m2. Her partner Helmut Hirler has photographed the originals and mounted much smaller versions onto wood blocks.
The chicken and dog come in square blocks measuring 18cm x 18cm.
