Joseph lives in Hawkes Bay and has a completely unique style of painting on old window frames. He etches with transparent white on the back of the glass, and paints a separate scene on the back board. This creates, depth and shadows, but most of all a dreamy, reminiscent feeling.

Inheritance depicts a young boy / teen, sitting in front of his grandmothers collection of art / pottery / cat. It invokes thoughts about the passing down of one’s own treasures. It measures 67cm wide by 79cm high.
