Nancy lives in Bay Of Plenty but grew up in Germany, The majority of her artwork is created solely with the pure and natural shades of NZ sand. To highlight certain details or colours not available in sand, she uses crushed glass and other mixed media. Her main subject is nature.

Sun Shower has been created using 9 natural shades of NZ sand plus shades of blue crushed glass and gold and silver leaf. It is on stretched canvas, and measures 76cm wide by 76cm high.
