Joseph lives in Hawkes Bay and has a completely unique style of painting on old window frames. He etches with transparent white on the back of the glass, and paints a separate scene on the back board. This creates, depth and shadows, but most of all a dreamy, reminiscent feeling.

A Different Path is about a young man, from the land, but choosing to follow other pathways. It measures 127cm wide by 53cm high. The scene in the background is an old caravan and farm buildings.
